Blood orange Sicilian salad

BLOOD ORANGE SALAD RECIPE

 

Ingredients :

  • 4 blood oranges peeled and cut in halves or slices (they can also be regular oranges)
  • 8 canned anchovies cut into pieces
  • 1 handful of chopped nuts
  • 1/2 fennel cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 scallion cut into thin julienne
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • modena vinegar (optional)

Preparation:

Place the ingredients in a bowl and season with olive oil. We can add a splash of balsamic vinegar.

You can replace the nuts with pistachios.
